Spring Is Nearly Here

Post by Donald Ruetenik »

'Spring Is Nearly Here' (originally by The Shadows)

I would think this song to be perfect for steel guitar but haven't been able to find anyone who has done it.

Any thoughts?

Very nice. This is a new one on me. I missed out on most of "The Shadows" music back in the day. I guess they were bigger in the UK than in the USA. Yes, a nice melody and well suited for the steel guitar.

Yeah, I know just enough on the steel guitar to keep impressing myself and I can throw just about every cliché passage I know at this one and make it sound beautiful (to me, at least).
