Hawaiian Music Lovers.....................here it 'tis!

For some fabulous, non-pedal, Hawaiian Steel Guitar melody, I'd urge you to drop-in today to the JERRY BYRD Fan Club.........

You'll find great steel guitar solo's by JERRY BYRD and the authentic Hawiian vocal of Bill Lincoln. It's located on the Home Page of the jerrybyrd-fanclub.com site.

Truly traditional Hawaiian Music at its best!

Hope you enjoy it.

What a great record Ray! Thanks for that. It swings, and each turnaround propels the song into the next verse. The prominent ukulele helps too. That is something missing from a lot of otherwise good Hawaiian steel records. The overall balance is damn near perfect. An examination of what Jerry did throughout will be a very worthwhile study. Of course the other wonderful thing from my point of view is Bill Lincoln singing one of my favorite songs. I’m gonna “wear a groove” in this one. :D

Hi Ray -

That selection by Jerry Byrd & Bill Lincoln is fron one of my favorite albums by Jerry -- "HULA IN FALSETTO". This was one of the first albums Jerry recorded when moving to Hawaii in 1972. Another favorite, around the same time, is "MAI POINA 'OE IA'U" with Gary Aiko doing all the vocals.

Jerry is certainly missed.
