Crazy Arms . . . David Hartley . . . YouTube
Here's my version of Crazy Arms..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wM_fMLv_Q9o
I get asked for the backing tracks a lot these days so its available here for download..
http://www.davidhartleymusic.com/page2.htm
Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the track..
Tabs will eventually follow but have a go at it first by watching the video, and don't forget to click on the bottom right of the video to enable HD and full screen modes on youtube. !

First class steel playing
Nothing to say apart from first class yet again - no one to touch this man for elegance of playing and perfect interpretation of one of the old time great songs.Well done Dave, more please.

I listened to that one about 14 times. Never thought that an old song that I have heard so many times would make an impression. But it did. Lovely playing David.
I can hear a touch of Lloyd Green in several spots there

I like the way you've put the arrangement together....
A lot of thought must have gone into preparing this song.....some real nice moves there.
Enjoyed listening to it. Do continue doing songs your own way.

Charles
I knew you was gonna ask for Tabs.. I better complete some for you. I think you've waited long enough. BUT remember, There's so much to be learnt without tabs too. Imagine painting by numbers ? learning steel from watching and listening is like painting without numbers..! I promise I will get this to you as soon as I can.

Dave's You Tube Presentations
Dave, I was just enjoying some of your You Tube presentations and some have been viewed over 100K. I'd say that's pretty impressive. You must be doing something right. I can play some of your songs my way but I prefer your renditions better; another reason I want to get all of your tabs that you offer. Thank you.

It's taken a few hours tabbing it !
Ok, I have completed the writing of the tab for Crazy Arms. I am starting the spreadsheet now, so after checking it through a few times, it should be available to download from my site before the weekend.

Crazy Arms is now Tabbed !
This one took ages, but it is finally completed.
There is some really nice E9th moves and licks to learn here with this one. Its been tabbed, as usual, with all the little expressional pedal movements.
Enjoy...!
http://www.davidhartleymusic.com/page2.htm
(It's near the bottom of the page above the Crazy Arms track.)
You can also watch the high definition video here which the tab relates to....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wM_fMLv_Q9o
Dont forget, at the bottom of the youtube screen, there's the option to change the viewing settings from 360 to 720 HD and make the picture fill your PC screen there too. It takes a few more seconds for the HD stream to download but you can pause the player to give it the necessary time.
Many Thanks
David Hartley
