O.K. So I got a Kodak Zi8 camcorder and am trying to see if this system will workout for making Steel vids.

That's great playing, Pete. If you're using the external mic input for the sound, Is there a way you can attenuate the audio signal before it gets to the camera, so as to avoid clipping? The video looks great.

I am working with the levels.
That was with my Steel rig into a Walker Stereo Steel amp, then out of the Stereo headphone jack to the Zi8.

That is a "Black Raja", the biggest/heaviest one they make.
I have a Red one, too (regular size).

Sounds great, Pete. That's a fun tune. I used to play that in a band in harmony with another steeler.

Sounds like you've got the levels sorted out, and that Kodak will work out just fine.
