Different approach there for raising the pitch.
That Johnny Paycheck track was from an album that introduced me to the great J.P. produced by Billy Sherrill and had some lovely pedal steel from Pete Drake throughout the album..

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.

I got a Zum S12U in a buy/sell/trade deal about a year ago, that appears to be identicle to the one Jeff is playing here.
Cool!

Hey Pete,

Gee..and I thought that I owned that very same guitar, see my avatar.

I bought an identical looking one from Jeff in March 1988, when he was over in Europe to give workshops in The Netherlands and Germany. But, if this video really dates 1993, it can not be the same one. Nevertheless, he did play it for some time, now that 's really 8).

Mine has serial# S1274172. A great guitar, I only wish I could play it better...
