That's from Tommy's "By Request" CD. Highly recommended!
edit: Oops, my mistake. This is a live version, however the CD is still highly recommended.

Wow, what a player! Just beautiful through and through.
Dick, that part is what you would call improvisation. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

It is indeed from the By Request album but it is the live version played in 2002.
I have also the tablature but the part from 2.24 til 2.43 is a lot different than on the cd.
Maybe someone has the tab for that part.
I am also looking for the live version of Tesa's Waltz.
Fantastic player, lots of soul, I like that particular style of playing. _________________ Sjaak Hollenberg

I just love Tommy White's playing; always have and always will. Very expressive player; with a lot of emotion.

Tommy is a player of staggering technique and feeling. I used to love seeing him on TV in the bands Buddy Skipper led on TNN. Every solo was an event. Tommy never held back, always "going for it", and played plenty of C6 too.
If you haven't got a copy of the "Evening of E9" with Tommy and Lloyd Green, it's an absolute must-have. Aside from the incredible playing from both, Tommy's obvious deep respect for Lloyd is touching.
I wish there was a C6 companion to his E9 instructional DVD, and how about "An Evening of C6" with someone like Paul Franklin? |
