The British Steelies Society

Post by Bob Adams »

The British Steelies Society now has a new home! Please drop in and see us!

http://www.thebritishsteeliessociety.co.uk/index.php

The site is not dissimilar in style to your own but has a few new posting features you may find of interest. Roy Heap the site’s moderator has been experiencing technical issues with the former site for some time and losing membership as a result so the new platform had to be established, though still in its infancy it is progressing nicely and numbers of our more regular UK players are already back with us.

For those of you who were on the original site there is no connection to the login details, please treat as a new registration.

When you register you will be given an activation link back to your email address and your first post will be approved by admin as a further site precaution there after you are on your way.

Steelies

I don't post often but read many of the posts. I am a fairweather lap steel and console steel player. I checked out the Steelies site right after the posting and found it fascinating. Also checked out posts by Basil and found them very helpful. Guess I'm the only one of this side of the pond enjoying it. :)Thanks.

Thanks for the heads-up. I was booted off the old forum three times in as many days and just gave up on it. I'm off to have another go.

Just signed up. I was there years ago but the site kept having problems so I gave up. Looks like it working really well now.

You should all go sign up too!
