The change you described is not the full Franklin pedal. To have the full or complete Franklin pedal you have to also lower the sixth string a full step (from G# to F#). Paul Franklin lowers all three strings (5,6, & 10) a full step on one pedal. Many players, however, split this into two pedals (or levers). The change you described is useful and somewhat common, but it is only part of a split Franklin pedal.

Hello Forest,
I'm a little to late for this reaction but maybe it helps you out a little bit. Paul use his PF-lever also in combination with the E-lower knee lever.
a Little example is a lick in F:
4&5 string on 15 fret with A-pedal down, slide to 13 fret, the E-lower knee lever in, Let A-pedal lose, them comes your B-lower(Franklin Pedal) in, then let the B-lower(Franklin Pedal)comming up, at the same time you push the A-pedal one more time down and up.
Sorry, I haven't a Tab for it. But I hope I help you out. You can use this in several solo's or intro's
Sincerely,
Marcel
