Does any one know who is playing steel for Ray Price these days? I'm going to see him this Thursday at the Diamond Joe Consino in Northwood Ia.

Close, Dave. It's "Loessberg." Aside from that, all is correct.

Heb I knew I was probably wrong with the spelling and if I had not been so lazy I would have gone into my music room and looked on one of his CDs. Sorry about that Jim.

Now all we have to do is get the Herbster to tell the story once again. I paid 2 bucks, by check, to hear it. Laughing Laughing

Well, you learn something everyday! I did not know Herb wrote "Nyquil Blues". I've been in several bands who did the song,I love it!Alright,Herb, would ya tell the story again,or do I have to send $$ like Fred? Mr. Green BTW: I used to work for a fairly well known singer in Texas who was BIG time anti-alcohol.We used to have to carry a flask in our boot if we wanted a nip. Funny thing is,the guy would complain of "throat problems" & sometimes drink a whole bottle of Nyquil during a gig!! By the end of the night he would be dragging the tempo so bad it would almost back up. NEVER could convince the man he was "drinkin". Shocked

Well we sure got alot of mileage out this little thread boys. I hate to admit it but I never heard of Nyquil Blues either. I just knew when Scotty brought it up it had something to do with the alchol content.
By the way did you guys hear about the gal that got drunk on vanella. It made the national news. She must have been hard up. Had a whole lot of little bottles in the car with her when she got stopped.
