Hey Guys!!-
Recently got hold of a MINT CONDITION WEBB amp (not the reissue). It looks and sounds GGGGRRRRREAT!!! AND YES, after playing it briefly, it is The HOLY GRAIL!!! (much better than my NV112)....ALTHOUGH IT WEIGHS A TON!!!!!
However, the sound is SO BIG!! and there's so many GOOD settings, I can't figure out which to use.
Is there anyone out there who can give me a standard 'knob' setup (if there is such a thing) that most steel players use for these ?

Equalizer=Off
Middle selector switch=Middle
Treble=2
Miderange =5
Bass=6-7 |

Hi my Webb is from the late 70's early 80's i think serial number 1155,
settings for me,
sensitivity = 9
vol= how ever loud you want,
Treb= 0
Mid= 0
Bass= 8
Reverb how ever much you want
selector in middle position
EQ, in
50 to 150 = 0
150 to 350 = 0
350 to 650 = 0
650 to 1350 = +1
1350 to 2500 = -1

I bought my Webb around 1994 from Mr. Webb himself. It was the first one built after the company being dormant for 10 years. It is still going strong, been dropped twice too!
My settings vary depending on which guitar I use but the selector is always on the right.
sensitivity: 7-10
Volume 2-3
Treble is usually on 7-10
Mid 0-4
bass 4-5
reverb 3-5
EQ depends on which guitar or what the stage/room sounds like.
