Hello My Fellow Steelers! :D
I`m back again with part two, of what was just a result of a bland rainy day afternoon. I know, you`ve had them too! But somehow the inspiration comes to just let go, and let fly. To let the music go where it wants to. This is the result of that feeling. (At least for me :lol:) Lets all have a good time! Be Blessed!

That is great guitar pickin and the tempo and the beat of that song turns a rainy day into a sunny day any day of the week. Great work Ron.

As usual I`m late in reponding, but not intentionally, I assure you.
Thanks so much for your kindness. It means a lot to me.
I recognize, that among such steel players that are a part of this community, my technique is a little radical, even in the sacred steel community it`s not the most accepted, but as long as I do it from the heart, somebody will like it. Yes, I guess I do hop around quite a bit, although my batteries are pretty much blown at this age! :lol:
My tuning is kinda strange but here goes, from the 1st. down to my 10th., which is my Bass string: 1st.E, 2nd.B, 3rd.G#, 4th.E, 5th.B, 6th.E, 7th.B, 8th.E, 9th.B, 10th.E. This is "E" natural I believe. But to make the strings sustain longer I adjust all of the strings up a tone to play to the Key of "F" which is then F,C,A,F,C,F,C,F,C,F.
I know this is strange, but it works for me! :)
I have two knee levers on my modified Carter, which I modified myself,no foot levers because I am a double above knee amputee,(I was struck down by an auto accident with a drunk driver) so you see I play a sort of "Non Pedal Steel" with a "Lap Steel" flavor! :) At any rate I hope that this answers some of your inquries. And yes, I`m just glad to be alive!!! Oh! I forgot, I can yet, and do walk with my prosthetic legs. Hallelujah! :D
