Joe, the Greenbrier Valley Theatre here in Lewisburg runs this show from time to time. Last run was 2007. I used a sub last time for two of the nights I could not be there. It really is a big commitment but I had a great time. Kinda like joining the military. My problem with doing this is I am not comfortable getting involved unless I'm sure I have someone to cover for me when a conflict arises. This happened the last time around when I got Taylor Made's lead player involved and a hot job came up. I got him a sub who had to back out at the last minute. OUCH! If they run this show in the future I'll let you know. Don D

Bill, I think Ted Swindley Productions specifies some of the requirements that must be adhered to since he holds rights to the script production.
I think you will find that "stage & dress outfits" will vary depending on the location the production is performed. I think it is up to the director or stage manager with regards to the outfits/dress worn.

I played the Honky Tonk Angels show, which is another Ted Swindley production, and they gave us shirts to wear, but we wore our own hats. This was the only show ever to be called back because of it's popularity. It was the last show one season and the first in the next season. Larry
