Mark Knopfler & Paul Franklin
I was watching the YT video of Brad Paisley doing Walk of Life, from a recent thread on "MSA Sounds", and I found this version with Mark and Paul.
What a great sound mix of the players' guitars; clear and clean, solid and rockin' !!!! And Paul lights it up at the end, like "frosting on the cake"; I wish he would have played about 20 more choruses !!

Must be the best solo for promoting the pedal steel outside of country music ever.
Did anyone notice the little hiccup at 5.07 and the superb recovery ?
Ive watched and marvelled at this solo so very closely on the different videos he's done that I just noticed a little difference at this point, its hardly noticeable but I think his pick got snagged on a string.
I didnt know there was as many notes in the whole world than Paul played in those few seconds, hehe !
