Knob for a Peavey Vegas 400

Post by Jim Pitman »

I have a Peavey Vegas made in the eighties I believe. It has black plastic control knobs with four center color variations, black gray, white, and, blue. I'm missing one blue knob.
Anybody have an extra blue one they would part with?
How about any color?
Peavey no longer stocks them. They have come up with a substitute orange center one. I could paint it I suppose but I'm very weary of Peavey replacement parts. I've had no luck with them the last three times I've ordered stuff for older vintage amps. In addition to the center being the wrong color their substitute knob will likely be a different size/shape/style for all I know.

Keep checking on ebay every now and then. I have seen them on there quite often.

Jim, Virgil Pittman is the guy. He is up around Siloam Springs, AR and has a supply of knobs and he is as generous as any one you will ever meet. Look for him on the forum and email him. I will see if I have his email address for you also.
