Sho Bud "The Pro ll" D10 8&3 $1595 SOLD
Beautiful Sho Bud "The Pro ll " Custom, D10 8 pedals and 3 knee levers. It appears that there were other knee levers at one time because of the extra holes in underside. Serial number 15067. This guitar is outstanding condition for its age. Probably early 80's after being aquired by Gretch. The steel has the Day setup but can easily be changed to Emmons as you already probably know. This is a tripple raise double lower. The finish is great, no checking or cracks and you have to look real hard to find a bar ding. the case is also in great condition, it has a couple of nicks in the tolex. The endplate on the changer side has a very slight bow, maybe 1/16", you have to be on top of it to see it. Don't know if it was put together that way or not as a casting will crack if bent and it doesn't have one or even a flat spot on a corner. It will need to be lubed as the guitar has just been sitting and hasn't been played in over a year and so it needs to go to a good home where it can be admired and played. These newer Sho Buds don't come up for sale too often so get one while you can. $$1595 plus shipping. Thining the herd. SOLD LOCALLY

If you haven't sold this guitar in two months. I'll have the money and i'll buy it. But i doubt it'll be on here for that long.
So whats up with the wood necks vs aluminum necks in tone? I've only played aluminum.
I got a mullen. I want a shobud. I want a emmons and fresenden before it's all said and done. I'll be complete as a human being.
haha

pending sale locally
A new local player is having Lynn Stafford look at it this weekend so a local sale is pending and if it falls through I will pop it to the top at this FIRM price.

I can't believe steel guitars are going for so little money these days ! I have a Pro ll Custom that i bought new in 1977 and it's not for sale . If i was going to sell my Bud i would have a price of $3000.00 firm . Maybe more !!! I know the economy isn't the best these days but i think it will come back in the near future . I don't mean to upset any buyer but just my honest opinion .

I am working with a new player who needed to up grade from a Carter Starter to a pro guitar, when he saw this his face was beaming about as red as this guitar. He wants to also have the C neck to learn on so this is right up his alley. He is one of the best banjo and fiddle players in the NW and knows good tone when he hears it.
Lynn is going to add a 4th knee lever and change the pedals to an Emmons setup. It needs a few pull rods and new strings and it will be ready to go.
This thing play like butter, blew me away.
