Too long a story to go into, but I was trying to do some preventative maint on my older Hilton pedal and somehow didn't see where the red wire (in the group of wires to/from the wall wart)goes (inside the casing of the pedal itself).
I've left a message for Keith but it's late Sunday nite and I've got to head to a gig around noon tomorrow so...I better hurry : )

Thanks in advance if anyone knows!

Mike

Upate...the red wire is not used but you must be careful to not let it make contact with anything electronic or metal. Same goes for the foil shielding that is just under the exterior rubber tubing and over the various wires themselves.

I'm going to try to just replace the power supply entirely. Hopefully I haven't fried anything on the pc board itself : )
