Renown Reverb

I have now got my amp working great having replaces a few caps. It sounds really good with the two Blue Marvels. My problem is the reverb is crap. There is loads of output but it appears the driver is very weak. Is there any way of making the driver circuit more effective? Looking at the schematic the driver circuit seems very simple. Thanks in advance for any help.
