This is my girlfriend Gena singing on this with me on steel and bass and rhythm and Wade Landrey on fiddle. We did this here at my house on a VS-2480 Roland. Gena can really sing her b--- off. Please excuse the drums, it's Band in a Box.

henry that is some fine picken'boy that gril sho nuff sings great to.i was in jail in monroe la. one time.there was a gril in there that sing good.ask her if she has ever been in monroe jail. ya'llhave a big time in dallas;see you soon pete

Post it as an mp3 and
it won't stammer and
stutter like this

Also, it won't take
nearly as long for

Henry, your playing is supurb as is Gena's singing! She seems to have a blend of Allison Moorer and Connie Smith in her voice...two of my favorites!

Roger, that is a Connie Smith song. It's one of her latest I believe and is not that well known but a great song. My kind of country.

Well Henry and Gina, you both sound like you recorded those tunes at RCA.

Good sound, good delivery and Henry you and Wade put just the right amount of Steel and Fiddle backup in there for my taste. Now about 8-10 more tunes like that and you'll have a Great CD!

I've often thought that there has gotta' be something in the water there in Texas to have as many great singers and musicians...and song writers you have there.

My kind of Country too!

Ditto to all your SGF members praising your and Gina's fine rendition of great country music, Henry.. Superb pickin on that fine sounding steel and Gina's voice is out-standing ,too. First I have heard you backing a singer, my friend.. I knew you were a fine steeler but now you have proven that point to me with these two songs..
