Some Southern Soul & Blues with a Sho-Bud steel

Post by Jan Jonsson »

Hi,

I was recently invited to play pedal steel with singer Simon Lindekrantz and his soul/blues band. Below are some sound clips from the concert. I'm playing my S-10 Sho-Bud Pro I through a Fender Princeton Reverb amplifier. A Seymour Duncan Twin-Tube Classic is also involved. The sound clips contain the songs "Congo Square" (Sonny Landreth) + "Tore Down" (Freddie King), "Lies, Lies, Lies" (J J Cale) + "T-Bone Boogie" (T-Bone Walker) and "One Way Out" (Sonny Boy WIlliamson) + "Any Ole Way" (Otis Redding).

Congo Square + Tore Down

Lies, Lies, Lies + T-Bone Boogie

One Way Out + Any Ole Way

Hope you enjoy it!
