Dwight Lap Steel Free ship SOLD

Post by Rich Hlaves »

I'm selling several lap steels I don't play enough to warrant keeping in theses tough financial times. This is a Supro style lap with string through pickup made for Dwight's Music in St. Louis. It has the Dwight's logo on the headstock. Basically the same guitar as a National Chicagoan but with a Supro fretboard. Really nice shape, tuner buttons have been replaced and it has a pair of Rick A. NiBro magnets in the pickup. One of my best sounding laps. Original pots & PU. Excellent condition. The case is a well worn cardboard type but fully functional. $300 plus free insured shipping in the con. US. I'm good with PayPal or MOs. More pics & details on request.

This guitar can scream if you play the blues. Nice mellow Hawaiian if you back off a bit. Original magnets for PU included.

If I didn't already have a '60 Supro with the same 3x3 string-through pickup and Aiello magnets, I would have bought this weeks ago. IMO for this price there's no better-sounding lap steel, vintage or modern.
