Great
Great playing David I liked that Dobro you put in there, wonder where that came from, ha ha.
Texas is growing, we had some of the snow here in TN.
Just got back from Chicago getting some Bars Hard Chromed glad to be home getting ready for Dallas, just around the corner.
See you all soon.

OK Dave; I am shamelessly begging you to tab this song as soon as you can. IMO, it doesn't get any better. Sure, I can play this song, but not like you. I need to know every little note placement, pedal action etc. that you did to get this masterpiece. I'll never get to your level but I want to try with this one. Please, please my friend, thank you. Charlie

Oh man. David I have to agree with all the above, and then some. As it turns out that's currently my favorite song. I've been singing it to my wife, in the car, doing dishes, during commercials, driving her nuts.
I second Charlie's request. Please tab that?
Looking forward to more, and meeting you in person; not at Dallas this year unfortunately, but one of these days!

The Last of the World's Great Human Beings. Ok, well maybe one of the last. Oh alright then, a perfectly ordinary slacker.

Hi
Many thanks for your comments everyone. Bryan, I used the same BJS John Hughey bar all the way through the song and just switched the Match-Bro on at that part of the song, and I always use, and only ever use Dunlop 0.20 guage finger picks with a Dunlop standard large thumb pick. I like the finger picks well worn too, so they are almost mis-shaped on the end with wear. Charles, The web site will be updated with some more tabs after Dallas, I am waiting for my new steel before updating the site with pictures and and information on my settings and equipment too etc..
Please drop by at the 'Rains' booth in Dallas if you're coming to the show, you must come and hear Mark Dunn too, we will both be using the Steel Mixer.
Bill, I am emailing you later today.
Many thanks,
David Hartley
Oh, almost forgot, I have 2 new CD's which will be available from Dallas, and more tuition, and tracks too.

Hi Everyone..
Here's a rehearsal video for you with just the intro/outro and dobro break left in for you to practice to. Key Eb.

David
PS. If you watch it in HD you can then go full screen and see it all brighter and clearer. You may have to pause the video for a couple of minutes to allow the stream to get ahead of your player.

Just seen this posting.
I noticed David didn't mention (perhaps intentionally, ha). We've just put together some Merle Haggard instrumental tunes with both of us playing for a CD release that might be ready for Dallas! Most of the tunes were put together during one days recording in early February. I have to say David's tone that day was unbelievable. The combination of the gear, including his Evans amp and his own tone was scary!
I'm looking forward to Dallas and meeting some great folks.
Yes John, your Telonics FP-100 is sorted!
