I'm probably one of the biggest Ray Charles fans as he was a master of all types of music. Ray, along with one of the most unrecognized masters of steel guitar, makes this a great classic clip! Thanks for posting it.

well then maybe you can tell me, who played steel on Ray's christmas LP, "The Spirit of Christmas"? I've been wondering for some time.

It was discussed some time back, but this is worth bumping back in view every once in a while. Textbook classic stylin' and profilin' by Ray and the whole band, showing how closely related classic R&B, Soul, and Country are related.
