Ricky,
Thats Gary Carter, a great steel player, who should get to play more on the Marty Stuart show.

I don't understand that when Gary does play, that his volume is very low, and sometimes very hard to hear. Don't they have a sound man?

Yes, they have a sound man.
But his boss is a guitar player. So I doubt the steel will ever be as loud in the mix as the guitar.
Just my opinion. And yes I know Marty is a fan of good steel guitar playing.

Thanks for the reply George. I have never heard of him. He sure is one mighty fine picker with great tone on that Zum.
