Just a reminder that you can buy only the "Old Hag" CD without purchasing the whole "Hag Bag". The same holds true with the tracks, sideman CD, or tab.

Thanks Herman, and others who have ordered. All orders have now been sent and some will receive them today. Early response has been better than I expected, considering everyone is wrapped up in last minute shopping. I know a lot of you have stretched budgets, so please come back and consider a Hag Bag (or a CD) after the Yuletide pressure lets up.

To all Forumites: <B><font color=green>Have yourselves a merry little</font color=green><font color=red> Christmas!</font color=red>

I've heard back from a few who have received their orders and here's some comments:

"Very excellent Service. Everything is top notch and well worth the price. Thanks again for some great material and merry Christmas."

and another:

"Thanks for the prompt service. This is the best learning material I've seen anywhere. Congratulations on a great product. I hope you have plans to offer similar products in the future."

Thanks for your comments, folks. Your feedback is always appreciated.

Mike, I received the C-D today.I have already listened to it once and it is started the second time.Beautiful! What great sounding steel. And I also love your selection of tunes. It didn't hurt anything that you got The Moon on there with you, however, you certainly are a great player! The Moon said he really enjoyed "pickin with you" and that you are a fine picker!I wish you great success in marketing your efforts! Regards, Fred

Well, well,

This last few years has seen some good stuff being produced from a variety of sources, not least being Mike Headrick.

This latest offering is the most comprehensive that I have seen. Not only do you get a listening CD, you get a CD of the tracks, chord charts, tab for several of the songs and then a CD with a singer for back up practice - all of studio quality.

I have spent a whole week having fun with this package and can recommend it to everyone.

Thank you for your comments, guys.

Fred,
Ralph was my strongest inspiration in my beginning years, and continues to be one of my absolute favorites. I feel this CD wouldn't have been complete without the Mooney touch. I hope to include him on another future project I have in mind.

O.K. Folks, If you are a "Newbie" then this is the deal for you. The one on one cds are awsome. You pop it in the cd and it is like having the teacher tell you step by step, line by line exactly what to do.
I have a feeling it will be a late night. This is one of the best I have ever been exposed to.
There are six cd's in this thing and it is well worth the money. One cd is all the songs and it is pure sweet steel.
Mike ole boy, you done good.

Thanks for replying guys. I do appreciate you!

I'm very happy with the response I've gotten from those who've purchased the Hag Bag, and the single CDs. Some just get the "Old Hag" instrumental CD, some the tracks, some the "Sideman" CD, and some get only the tab & instruction CDs.

If you just like listening straight ahead country steel, that's what you'll find on "Old Hag".

Rather than a new post, I thought I'd just give this one a bump. I'll be at the Dallas Show with The Hag Bag, The Buddy Emmons "Phases" prints and T-shirts, plus the rest of my CDs and rhythm tracks. Please drop by.

The "Old Hag" CD (Merle Haggard Steel Guitar Tribute) will be in the Forum calalog within a couple of weeks. I have a policy that if you buy any part of "The Hag Bag" (such as the Old Hag CD), you can upgrade to the rest of the Hag Bag at any time with full credit toward the purchase. If you buy "Old Hag" from the forum, I will still honor that upgrade.

Great sounding package here, Mike---like all your other offerings I know this one will be a homerun, no questions asked! Is the complete deal available through SGF so BeeZeroBee can benefit as well? I'd hop on board ASAP if so!

-b0b- will only be selling the Old Hag CD on the SGF, but I pay a percentage donation on any Hag Bags (or individual CDs) sold on the internet. It's easier than to try to track the source from which it came. I've sold quite a few from my site to folks I'm pretty sure were not forum members, but there's a good chance they visited the forum and saw it here.

Just thought I'd bump this thing up before taking it to Dallas this weekend. If you're coming, drop by booth #44. If not, you can order from the website anytime (steel guitar page) www.countrydiscovery.com , or I can take phone orders through Wednesday, March 3rd, and then starting again on Monday, March 7th.
