A Couple Of Standards
I play with a band called The Burnside Scramblers. Yesterday we set up in our rehearsal garage and ran everything through a mixer into my little Zoom H2 recorder. Here are the results:
Let's Fall In Love
After You've Gone
I'm playing my Desert Rose S-8 (D6/G copedent), and using the "Record Out" jack on my Mesa/Boogie Maverick. The lead guitarist did the same with his Boogie amp. There were 4 live mikes in the room, so I'm sure there was plenty of bleed all around.
Comments and constructive criticism are welcome.

b0b: Were you using the same guitar on the other thread, I Love To Tell The Story ?? At first I was thinking it was your Williams but this has me wondering...
And yes, I have to agree with you on how some of those changes grab this or that person (player...). I used to really like the similar change in Tennessee Waltz.
Regards, Paul

I thoroughly enjoyed both cuts, b0b ... everything sounded great and I enjoyed finally getting to hear you play.
Very nice, indeed.

The gospel songs were done before the Desert Rose arrived, Paul. I can't say for sure whether that one was done on the Sierra or the Williams, but in either case it was an Extended E9th.Paul Graupp wrote:b0b: Were you using the same guitar on the other thread, I Love To Tell The Story ?? After adjusting the controls, I tend to get a similar tone no matter what guitar I'm playing. I set it to make the sound I like to hear.
These jazz tunes are improvised around the melody, chord progression and our band's arrangement. I tend to tread lightly in them unless I'm soloing. During my solos I pick harder and pray a lot.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.
