My wife and I just returned from the Grapevine Opry where we were the invited guests of steel player and forum member, Jeff Agnew.
Tonight's show was Western Swing and Jeff and the band and the singers did a great job.
It was a very enjoyable evening and I want to say, "Thanks Jeff, for a great time."

I agree totally with your assesment of last night. Great selection of material and it was a pleasure to hear Jeff play through the entire show.

Thanks for the kind words. That was a fun show and, of course, having two Western Swing Hall of Fame members on stage with you makes things even better.
Jack, I'm glad we were finally able to get you and your wife out of the house for a change  Sorry we didn't get more time to talk. I appreciate the CD and look forward to getting a chance to listen to it.
It was great to meet you and your wife, Mark. You win the award for best-dressed! (He proudly wore his ZumSteel t-shirt.)
I hope you'll both come back and see us again some time.
And Roger, credit for the good notes goes to you. The bad ones were mine. Too bad there weren't more of the good ones... |

Hi Jack good to hear you or getting settled. it is about time you started getting out some. may be coming over your way soon. Just found out i have a 1st cousin that pastors a church there in Ft.Worth his name is Jerry Judd I know he plays guitar not sure about steel. Write sometime my new email is r184@bellsouth.net . Oh' how is Wayne doing i have not heard from him.
