I was bored today in school so I jotted down two verses and a chorus on a scrap of paper. I came home and recorded in that good ol' 4/4 shuffle style, Mooney emulating steel and all.

Sorry if the song writing is a bit iffy, but at the age of 17 I haven't experienced too much of life yet to be writing Harlan Howard style stuff.

Buck would be pleased and I'm pleased. It's so good to see you thinking this way instead of .... well you know. I'd bet there's probably not a dozen 17 year olds in the USA that even know who Harlan Howard is, and they're probably related to him. Good job.

I was 17 when I went to Nashville with my songs. That's when I decided I wanted to be a steel player. But at 17 you're already doing it! Look out, WWVA!
