I am now a member of my favorite instrument forum and am glad to be in such great company.I played the "Opry road shows in the50's, 60's and part of the 70's. I worked for the artists that didn't carry a full-time band. I got acqquainted with Nashville thru Little Jimmy Dickens and Cowboy Copas when they came to a local job I was playing.
I quit playing in the mid-seventys and sold everything. I was burned out from 7 1/2 years with only one night a month off and I didn't like the direction our music was taking. In 2001, I went to Nashville and got re-equiped, courtesy of Bobbe Seymour. I am playing locally and am having a ball!

Hi Jack WELCOME aboard.I know where Harrison Arkansas is. I use to live in Russelville on Route 127 and in Atkins right on Route 105 about 3 miles north of I-40. This is back in 1993 to 1997.We like it there very much but it was to far to travel back and forth to Rhode Island. My son lived there for years and he moved to Texas so we said why are we here alone. We lived right at the begining of the Ozarks Mountains.Beautiful country down there. Now we are in Maine right at the beginning of the Black Mountains
