GFI D10 just sold on Ebay

Post by Jim Underwood »

Here in SW Virginia, a 3 year old, blue color, GFI D10, 8P/4K, sold for $1550. It was bought from Bobbe Seymour originally. Sounds like someone got a good deal. Opinions on price?

One just went here on the SGF for $1500. I was happy to pay about that for an SD-10 + shipping knowing I'd also have to get a set of +2" legs and rods (extenders don't work for GFIs) for another $145. A GFI D-10 (Ultra or Expo) has gotta be close to or more than $4K list. (I'm too lazy to go to the website just now, but you can look it up for yourself.)

This was an Ultra and according to the seller, it cost $3500 new.

Nice discount or an old purchase: they're $4450 for 8+5; presumably an 8+4 comes out $4300.

I would say around $1500 for a 3 yr old GFI D10 would be a pretty decent price to pay. The price he stated of $3500 new, seems a bit high but could be true.

I got my GFI 8X5 D10 Ultra off eBay for $1680 last year. It was a great deal, even though the steel needed some work that the seller didn't tell me about. I made the seller pay for the repairs so it all worked out in the end.
