David is a great entertainer all around, and a great guy to boot. I still see David & his wife ,Terri, from time to time.
I played steel for David for a number of years & had a great time at it with all the road grew, just like one big family.
I will never forget the time I was over at his house & we were in the basement just listening to some songs for a show that weekend when I looked around & down the stairs comes Don Helms himself
Dave just gave me that big ol smile of his.
Never knew who might show up at Daves house. I met Gean Shepard there, Bob Saxton & a few others.
Anyway, playing the road with Dave was a blast & the stories are many.
