Hi Paul,

Yes, that is Speedy on steel. The singer also was a successful actor and became a singing comdey star with his alter ego name...

Sheb Wooley. Never actually heard this one, but he has a real good baritone, perfect for this kind of material.

I beleive Sheb Wooley was also an Actor and had roles in the TV Westerns in the 50's.

He starred in several movies. One of them was Fred Zinneman's classic western "High Noon" with Gary Cooper where he played one of the killers.
