Steelin' Home - backstage
I just discovered this one tonight. I have no idea who shot it. It's backstage at the Milwaukee Uke Fest last month. Aaron Keim on bass (from the Boulder Acoustic Society) and my buddies Jon Prown on rhythm uke and Brian Hefferan on lead uke.
Very loose, just playing around.

Thanks guys. This was filmed six weeks ago - September 26, 2009 at the Milwaukee Ukulele Festival in Wisconsin where I was performing and teaching.
This is not my band. It's an impromptu jam. The bass player and the rhythm uke player were my backup band for the show and I was teaching them the song. We performed it on stage a half hour after this shot.

Thanks Andy. The Champion is only steel I will travel with now. It's feather-weight and will not shatter when it hits the floor like my Bakelites hopefully will never experience. Plus it's got the vintage macho vibe that gear heads love.
