Along with the late Mr. Bill Brown, the band and I have finally completed a new CD. This has been my first recording experience playing steel. Maybe not the best but good for me. I am also singing lead on 4 cuts and back-up vocals on the rest. I am very proud of the finished product and this project is dedicated to the memory of Mr. Brown. If not for his lifelong dream and generosity it would not have been possible. It is available direct from me: Jack Strayhorn, 3571 Milhaven Rd., Winston-Salem NC 27106, 336-760-8717. 14 cuts all country from Haggard to Gill, Loretta to Patty Loveless. $15.00 + $2.00 shipping. |

I surely appreciate the response from all of my old friends out there. Talking with you all has been great. I have a new e-mail address and it will make it a little easier to get in touch. LilJackHorner64@aol.com
The old one will still get to me through one of my band memebers. Hopefully I can make it to some jams and visit soon. |

I would like to say thanks for the wonderful response on the Cd release. Things have been going quite well. It is a good feeling to know I have not been forgotten. I hope to see many of you in the near future. Hopefully I will begin attending many of the steel shows next year. Until then I wish you all well.
Sincerely, Jack |
