The players are really looking forward to being able to play for their family and friends at our Nov 1st "Concert of Steels". The starting time has been pushed back to 2 PM to give people enough time to get there after Church and a noon meal. Right now we have 9 players signed up to play and a good variety of players for the backup band. Ron will list the players and more info as he gets the info.

This is great! Three of my students and one former student are on this show. I am very proud of them and the progress they are making. The only downer is that "One Way Flight" is playing out of town that Sunday evening and I will not be able to be there for most of the show.

Hey Mickey, Austin is working Saturday and has the KSGA meeting on that Sunday and a Fall party afterward. He has a gig from 2-4pm Sat. and then practice from 5pm to 7pm and a show from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. He missed his show for Ronnie's last week, better work this week.

Hey Dana, We had to put up with him last Fri. nite. He needs to stay in Ks. for a while !!!! I carried his guitar out after the show and put it in my car, but he found it.. We really had a ball while he was here, he's welcome any time and he is welcome to the club when he can. We are going to have a good show for the first one, and its getting close. Hope we can do a lot more next year.. Hey Mickey, were just a hop skip and jump from G.P.Tex. Ron

Hi Ron. I think Austin and Dad were both in hog heaven last weekend. They have not been able to spend a whole weekend together in AR. in ages. I think they trashed the poor music room with all their playing, changing out this and that on guitars. Austin said it was like old times. He will always have a special place in his heart for you guys at Barling, after-all, he grew up on your stage.

We will be wishing you guys the biggest crowd and the best picking this Sunday. Ya'll have a ball. Tell Linda I said hello.

Wow!!! You guys put on a WONDERFUL show!! Had an awesome time, and enjoyed playing. My thanx to the Arklahoma boys , and the backup band, for a job well done. And the gals who had a wonderful display of goodies and snacks. If ya didn't feel at home, it was because you just wasn't there!! Cool

Thanks to all that came in for our show. We had 120 to 125 people show up for our first show. All the players showed up and did their part. Had lots of snacks and drinks but not enough eaten, Had to take some home. Had a real nice place for the show and plenty of room. I will post some pic"s in a day or two. Had a couple of players show up but did'nt play. Hope we can get them next time. Thanks again to all who came. Ron

I know it is time to put this to bed, but I received a call today from the Stangers, who run the Muldrow Opry house, and the crowd is already asking how long before we hold another concert! I Guess we made a very good impression on them.
