.SGU Files to back up disc

Post by Dale Bessant »

Any one out there save these files to a back up disc if so any info or experiences would be interesting to read about....I want to save a lot of these files for back up and was thinking of putting the lot I have on either a cd or dvd disc for future use. :D

I have a back up copy of all my song files (SGU) on an external hard drive.

I back mine up twice, once on an external flash drive, and once on a hard drive on another PC.

So far I've been lucky and not lost any, but we all know that it could happen at any time.

I would back them up on either a dvd+r or a dvd+rw disc. Hold a lot more data than a cd disc.

You can keep adding to the disc as long as you don't close it out.

That sounds like what I would want to do Graham, what excatly do you mean by close it out? Finalize? There are so many different terms for the computer language.

Dale:
Finalize is the same thing as closing the disc out. Either terminology, you can't add to it after it is done.
