Well, you`all missed a great time!!
Gene Brown started off the show, Gene is a Fiddly Player turned Steel player, he's been at it for only 2 years, did a great job!!!
Second up Bobby Dixon ..Bobby brought a horn play with him from Amarillo, Tx Bobby Wynn: let me tell you, played great and sang just as well...They did Western Swing like only you hear in Texas!!! They also did a bunch of Hank Thompson songs, and with long time drummer for Hank Hugo Chambers playing drums, well it was perfect!!!...
Walter Lyons on guitar and Ray Keller on bass Dean Baxter on fiddle
Just a note the house band did a GREAT job this week,
We had a packed house, Albert was gone, played a job out of state, Debby did a great job filling in for him...well thats it from the T.S.G.A., make plans for the Nov meeting... Jim Evans & Albert will be playing...See Ya ~All next month..

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |
