" How Great Thou Art " By David and John

Dave and john : What a fine rendition of my all time favorite Hymn; A fellow musician friend of mine passed away the last day of August. His family came to me and asked if I would attend his funeral service and play my friend's favorite Hymn; " How Great Thou Art ". It was my and a musician's [ whom had played in our band several years ago ] honor to play the song for our dear departed friend.May he rest in peace..Thank you two fine musicians for honoring me by sending your version to me and my fellow forumites..A great job, indeed..Bernie

Thanks for your comments on the video.
My friend David Hartley has done so much to help me, (I am not much more than a beginner). I would like to thank David for his Time and Patience in helping me to learn to play. I know David has inspired so many folks who play steel. I am very fortunate that he is my tutor and my friend.
Sincerely, John Russell

John and David, A great song played in a great way!
John, it must be fantastic to have a teacher of Dave's caliber. No wonder you are making quick strides!
