That is a good one, Rick
Here is one I like better:

It kinda reminds me of my old highway patrol boss, Peso Dollar. He used to sing a song about the highway patrol with his band the Counterfeit Bills. Peso has passed on, but his son Mark still performs with the Counterfeit Bills at Rustler's Roost in Phoenix.

Some of you out there may have run into Peso Dollar over the years.
A highway patrolmen just sent me this u-tube of Peso doing a Hurst Ham Beans commercial. Peso was my district commander when I was stationed in Globe in the late 60's early 70's era. He used to do a song about the highway patrol on his morning radio program at KIKO radio in Globe.

Sorry didn't mean to derail the topic on Junior Brown, just some recollection his video brought up.

So Rick, were you a Highway patrolman in Globe? I had a lot of buddies down in District 6, I did my 20 for the City of CG. Btw, my good buddy Mark B. sometimes plays bass with the house band at the Roost, would that be the Counterfeit Bills?

Rick, I haven't been to Rustler's Roost in many years, but my son was there about a month ago and said that Mark was still performing there and I don't know for sure if they still use the name Counterfeit Bills. If was a rather catchy name for the band when the leaders name was Dollar, so I suspect they may have retained the name. I was in Globe from 1965-71. The Claypool Communications Center handled both District Six and Seven. Before that, the all of Dist 6 and 7 was called District 2 and had the same district commander before Peso.
