Must admit... it's a great marketing concept. That $.01 got them visibility here. Works elsewhere too. From a financial position most would mention how stupid it is... but not all bad press is bad press. I assure you they got their pennies worth :-) and no one could complain their accounting dept isn't on top of the numbers. :-) OTOH: If someone sent me an invoice for $.01 would qualify for complete stupidity.

Yeah Mike and what about all the super deals we just let slip through our fingers? Of course what I am talking about here are the many deals offered by daughters of government figures in Ghana.. to the tune of $5.7 million US!!

My wife retired, after a life of leisure, and was told she qualified for a Pension of £10 per annum, the Government asked her if she wanted it paid weekly or monthly.
