You are so right about his solo. The thing that really strikes me is how totally at home he seems to be here. He obviously is thoroughly enjoying himself. One could learn a great deal from Paul Franklin. One could, in fact, spend the better part of his life learning from Paul Franklin and still have a lot left to work on.

I bought that video when it came out and have viewed that 1oo's of times. All that I can say about what PF adds to that rock ensemble is that I am proud to be a pedal steel player and associated with this great instrument.

Whooo boy, my kind of music. I had forgotten I have this on a video CD, I'm gonna dig it out and watch the whole thing again.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.
