An old pedal song...........my rendition.
I'd enjoy learning what you have to say about my mutilation of an old western swing standard.....
entitled "I Love You Because".
You can find it on "Ray's CD's" page, on the JERRYBYRD-FANCLUB.com/
These olde tunes just never seem to lose their glitter, particularly when performed on a 1972 Emmons push-pull thro' a Peavy Session 400.
Just click the JERRYBYRD-FANCLUB.com thingie on my signature line on the bottom of this post.....then navigate to Ray's CD page. ENJOY!

Very nice
Ray,
I am a big Jimmy Day fan and have never heard this song "swung" before, but I loved it! It's like a completely new song. What year was that and who were you playing with?
Jim in Missouri

Hey Jim!
In response to your question.......
I believe that was the late 1970's......... I recall it was at an Elks Lodge in east Vancouver, Wash.
A small little group of olde friends.....good times were had by all!
