There was some discussion a while back about a powered mixer with CD player for play back of BIAB tracks.
There was a powered mixer mentioned that incorporated a MP3 port.
I did some checking and decided to go with this unit made by Pyle Audio.
It is supposed to have 800 watts with 8 channels and a USB port for MP3 files.
They also make two smaller units; 4 channel and 6 channel.
I have no experience with this unit but I figured for $150.00 I couldn't go too wrong.

That looks like the PVi 8 unit I've been looking at in the AMS catalog. I guess PVi stands for Peavey import? |

Bill,
Not the same mixer.
I did quite a bit of checking around and I don't believe Peavey has a powered mixer with the MP3. |

You're right Erv, just the layout looks similar. The PVi has RCA in and out, 150W output, and $100 higher. |
