First, I'd like to thank all the steel pickers that came by my table to meet and greet me, especially those that bought some of my instructional material or rhythm tracks! It was great seeing old friends and making some new ones. I was dismayed that a couple of rhythm track packages were pilfered from my rack while my back was turned or I was pre-occupied with another customer, but hey, I guess the guy needed them more than I did. 
To those several guys that ordered products by PayPal while I was at the hotel, I will get the merch in the mail on Wednesday morning. Right now I'm in Paul's Valley OK and won't be back home until Tuesday afternoon. I appreciate your patience to the max. You are the wind beneath my wings.

Herb, it is sad that someone would stoop that low to steal things, but things have a way of working out. They will answer for this eventually. But you already know that.
I hope someday you can come to our KSGA Route 66 Show in Baxter Springs KS.

Herb: Roy & I are so sorry to hear about what happened to your things at the convention! They will have to answer to the Lord!
I tried to catch you at your booth several times to say a proper hello but you were either busy or gone.

Herb,
I was abhorred to read that a steel player could do the dirty on another person.We live and learn.
It just shows how trusting You are.
When I was at Dallas in March I picked up one of Your courses and since You were engaged in conversation with someone I took the material with Me and did a circuit of the hall before returning to pay for it.
You did'nt even know I had it.
Thee ulterior motive at the time was for Me to ensure I got Mine before they ran out 
Your courses are excellent.
I have spoken to our local witch doctor and everything is taken care of.

I've edited the above post for several reasons.
First, the loss of an old hand truck, though needed at the time, is no great loss. I have other hand trucks. Secondly, the man might have felt that the cart was abandoned, and didn't have larceny in his heart.
Anyway, this thing is very minor, past me and I'm relieved. Turn your burdens over to the Lord and they'll be resolved in the right way.

BTW: Idea... Print up some stickers that say "Includes CD (at no extra cost)" and then slip the CD inside the book. That'll stop the CD from obscuring the track list. Maybe use some label stock made by Avery |

An excellent idea, though the cover of the book already says it includes a CD. Generally I've found people look at things but don't read them. The cover clearly says "tablature" but they'll ask if it includes tablature.
Others will look at the rhythm tracks packages, and I'll tell them "these are tracks to practice with, the book only contains chord charts. No lead instruments." They'll say "okay, fine. That's what I want." They'll buy the package, then come back later and say "hey, I looked and there's no tablature in here."
So to get around comprehension problems, I try to be as clear as possible, show and tell, from the gig-go. But you're correct... a brightly colored sticker with "INCLUDES CD!!" would make it easier.
They'll still ask, though...

Herb,
It was great seeing you again and have a little chat. Sorry about the bad experience. Seems like times are changing. In the past you could always count on the honesty of our fellow steel musicians and leave stuff open and/or unattended w/o having to fear it would disappear. Hope that doesn't change!
