I've got some files, styles and such from the acronis save that the computer won't recognize. Is there any way to run them through the windows installer so they'll be recognized? _________________ heavily medicated for your safety |

Post some of the file type extensions so I can try to figure out which applications can open them.
If the applications that were used to open them are not installed yet, you may need to install them into the new PC.
Images can always be opened by some application that usually ships with a PC. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

In conjunction with Wiz's efforts, here is a site that will help identify extentions also.

They are BIAB styles that weren't on the 2006/2008 discs I loaded, but were in my Acronis backup. I can see them when I look at the folders in explorer, but thru BIAB, they don't exist. I have ordered a replacement ver 10 Mega-pak which they were on, but I wondered if there were another way, is case that doesn't work. _________________ heavily medicated for your safety |

That is true, no other app will open them. I have another idea and will try that. Thanks. _________________ heavily medicated for your safety |
