Larry's Webb Obsession

Post by Tom Bradshaw »

What Larry didn't mention is a condition of the sale. He has to be able to duplicate Emmmons' SG Jazz album, note-for-note, within 30 days or both units must be returned. Should I be suspicious when he claims he met that condition?

Tom, I am confident that Larry will comply with your condition, "note-for-note." However, there will be some spacing and time between each note, which of course, was not stated in said "condition." BTW, I am mailing Larry a sax clip on mic, I can't wait to hear what his banjo sounds like through those sharp looking speakers. And his rendition of The Night Life on the 'ole 5 is gonna be tight!....word up Larry, what the dilly-O? Practicing r 'ya

My debit card is starting to twitch in my pocket. A tweed extension cabinet - how can I smuggle one past 'she who must be obeyed'?

For those people who are interested in getting hold of a new Webb, Tom is coming towards the end of his stock of materials. You need to move quickly in case he decides not to continue manufacturing them.

Quite simply, this is the best sounding steel guitar amp the market, possibly matched only by the Standel which is more expensive.

That means that for another 3 weeks or so I will be the only person in Europe to own a Bradshaw Webb. You have made a good choice Dave - we will have to do some A/B'ing of speakers when you get your amp. At least your back will appreciate your new amp - it weighs in at much less than your Session 500. :)
