[Mike Spaeth]

This old video came up on U-Tube this past week. The singer is Dean Dobbins, the fiddle player is Mike Hermsmeyer and I am on steel. This was at the 1990 ICMA awards show in Decatur, Illinois. Check out the comment by Johnny Russell at the end of the clip.

BTW Dean Dobbins and Mike Hermsmeyer are both fine steel players as well!

My, My, My...........that's country the way it is supposed to be. So much feeling in the vocals.... and he sung the second verse that everyone leaves out since Ronnie Milsap did it, and the cool modulation. It just don't get any better than this.
