Unique Intro - Invitation To The Blues

Post by Rick Campbell »

Here's a unique intro to "Invitation To The Blues" This is from a project I'm working on for a friend and forum member. Sorry, I don't have tab for this. It's completely from scratch. Hope you enjoy.

Not that it makes a difference, but I like the intro (pre-laughter) . . . in a non-ironic way.

(Think another seven pages' worth of haters will show up on Steel on the Web?)

I like it, but I think you'd get a more authentic "pedal steel sound" using a slide and Scruggs tuners. That would make everybody happy, right?

You can't please everybody. I thought this might just be the thing that gives me my big break in the music business.

Dave, Maybe I'll try a cut with the Bill Keith tuners and some slide. Good ideal.

I thought about maybe renting a booth at St. Louis and play "I Love You So Much It Hurts Me...clawhammer style....and of course give lessons and sell DVD's to teach other people how to do it.

Rick - I think there is an operation available to fix your problem. The girl singer sounds pretty good from what little I heard.

There you go folks. That's what happens when you tune you steel up to 440. You sound just like a Banjo.
