" The Day Of The Legends" Bishop R.P. Hall

Post by Bishop Ronnie P Hall »

Well, Let me begin by stating that this is not the "Official" release of "The Sacred Strings Showcase", but simply some additional photos "offered by me", to help satisfy some of the curiosity about that magnificent day of historical fellowship. I am sure that brother Delray Grace, will give vent to the larger, and certainly official inquiries, at a later time, and date. So again, these are simply various photos about the day! And please consider that my son`s lady friend, handled the job of photographer, she said up front "I`m not a photographer, but I`ll try!" Anyway, here they are!
By the way, I was very honored to be asked to participate. "Thanks Del!"

Thanks for that, Bishop Ronnie. Del knows I am an Atheist who enjoys the joyous music that is Sacred Steel. I just love music and on the whole, people.

Arch.
I'm well behaved, so there!

The Day Of The Legends

Post by Bishop Ronnie P Hall »

Hi Arch,
I am glad to hear from you and your encouragement about what is called "Sacred Steel", with the joy that it brings.
You know, as I look at what we call "Sacred Steel", is really kind of a "misnomer", for "music" is still what it is. Even though we put titles on the various styles of music, it is still music, played from our hearts, filled with the expressions of our joy, and happiness, no matter what foundation, gave birth to it,and as long as it brings joy to someone else, as well as ourselves. So my friend enjoy the music, and not hear it as an religious thing, country western, blues, hard rock, because "music is, what it is"! :D
Warmest of Blessings my friend, ;-)

Well said Bishop, and yes I love your music. I enjoy my religion and the older I get the more I thank God for the miracle of life. I enjoy Judeo-Christian concepts; just my own take on life and the integration of the two faiths in mine and many other families.
