Hi Chris-I suppose you get a lot of kidding about having a very famous name. I just saw and heard your video and it sounded like you know your chords on the E9 guitar. It sounded good and you had a nice tone. Just relax a little more....al.:) 8)

Hey thank you Al that's sound-better advice. To a degree the name, yes, but not as bad as my real first name, Chris is a nickname, which, here, could either be a boys or a girls name depending on the spelling, but in high school in Australia it was only a girls name, and, there, the Yanks are liked to be given a hard time when possible as well! You may also listen to this studio cut of M R which was done first ~ at least it is a little more in tune. http://www.sendspace.com/file/faa7zz

Thanks...hey what's in a name?...unless the chicks dig it. 8) Also, 'thanks' Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer the composers. Steel was recorded 'dry' through an effects box on bypass,,here is the final EQ on the steel. I mention it because I've noticed this boost at 1200 Hz adds a nice sound IMO. No reverb just the Karlette Echo default setting mixed heavily. Karlette is a VST effect. Like an echoplex but with four heads independently set for Vol, Pan, feedback etc. But I ramble. Another 'fake jazz' classic standard coming soon. cheers

Hi Chris, I listened to your studio cut of Moon River and it does sound better and smoother than the YouTube one. Way to go...al.:) 8) 8)
