Basil, it would be an honor to nominate David. However, I'm just a beginner at 65 years of age. A nomination from his peers would carry far more weight.

PS, there are very few players who have a guitar named after them. David is in this category as well.

I would have rate that on a scale of 1 to 10 a 20, because that is off the CHARTS! with 10 being the highest of course. That one and the other one you did with John Russell are two of my favorites. IO remember when I would write a song, the first thing I would do is call my mother and sing it to her over the phone. And I would recall her saying "Tommy." "That song is your best one yet". And I would tell her, "Well mama." You say that about all my songs". Then she would say,"They just keep getting better and better.
Keep playing David. You are truly a great steel player.
